FAMILY GROUPS

What are Family Groups?

Our family groups are made up of 4 to 12 people who meet on a regular basis to grow more like Christ together. They meet whenever and where ever the group decides to meet. Typically they meet two times a month, but some groups meet more often. Generally they meet in someone’s home, but sometimes its a picnic at a local park or they get together and go see a movie. The idea behind our Groups is not that they just get together and do a Bible study, or just get together to eat, or even just get together and pray. God created us to live life out in various sized groups. We have discovered that it is necessary for people to meet in smaller groups where time can be spent doing life together. We encourage our groups to maintain a balance in their activities. A balance between reaching Up to God, through prayer and study, reaching In to each other, through fellowship and study, and reaching Out to others through doing missions and service projects for each other and their neighbor.

I’m In A Family Group. Now Where Do We Start?

An important part of Family Groups is sharing our lives with each other. We’ve created a Weekly Sermon Discussion Guide that you can download below to help get the group talking and sharing. Guides are in PDF format and may be printed or viewed online. Though they are based on the weekly sermons, you don’t necessarily have to have been present on Sunday morning to use the guide. Click the link below to view the discussion guides.
