Sundays, 9:45 – 10:45am
Our primary purpose in all that we do in the Children’s Ministry at Fannin is to ‘Help Children to Become More Like Christ.’ Presently we are using Lifeway’s Bible Studies for Life to aid us in achieving this goal. We also offer Bible Drill on Sunday afternoons for older children to experience Bible knowledge in a tangible way. On special occasions, we offer other events and programming with the express purpose of helping children become more like Christ.
Children’s Church is a time of learning through video-based Bible lessons, music, games and play for children aged 4 years old through 2nd grade. Children’s Church is an opportunity for younger, wiggly children to have a meaningful worship experience while their parents are engaged in corporate worship. Your child will worship alongside of their parents during the music portion, and then follow the Children’s Church leaders to room 120 in the nursery hallway for the lesson.
*Children’s Church meets throughout the school year. Children’s Church does not meet on Holiday Schedule weeks or during the Summer. You are invited to use this time to show your child what it means to worship God with the rest of the gathering.
After a time of family dinner & fellowship, the children of Fannin experience age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons, activity and music. From 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesdays nights are designed for evangelism and discipleship for children of all ages.
Nursery Care is provided in our nursery wing for infants and toddlers aged birth through two years old.
Preschool Choir This is an hour packed full of music, preschool games, Bible lesson and play for children aged three through pre-k. Rm 120
Children’s Ministry Elementary aged children (Kinder through 4th grade) meet in the Clubhouse for a time of topical lessons straight from the Bible – as well as games, music, activities and more!
Preteens We recognize that children aged 5th and 6th grade are a unique group of individuals with a special set of needs – This is why you will find that we separate our preteens into their own group (room 110). Using the Bible as our ultimate authority, we dig deep into topics that are most relevant to this demographic. We also provide opportunity for service projects and evangelism.
