Title: Building for the Future

Yesterday we broke ground for a new multi-purpose building. Our student ministry needed a place to call their own. After different groups looked at that issue, as well as our long-range plans, we decided to build a place for out teenagers, and add to it a large dining/fellowship hall. The student ministry will have one half of the building. The other half will be used for fellowship, dining events, outreach, and our homeless ministry. We are also open to new opportunities that the Lord will bring in the years to come. The construction for the building begins today. It is interesting to see how God guided the whole process. From my perspective, it seemed like things were moving slowly…it felt like swimming in pudding. But in the end, we rest in God’s timing of events. As you read this, pray for a safe construction process for all the workers whole will be a part of building the new facility. Also, pray for God to continue to provide the money that has been pledged. Most importantly, pray that God will continue to give us the wisdom we need to use this facility for His greater glory and purposes.
