Title: Saving for the Future?

Opps. I sometimes forget to write a blog. I am not the type who can sit around and talk about my life like that, so I guess that is why it is something I have to remind myself to do. I read a lot of books, so I can talk about that! Last week I read a book by Ben Stein titled The Little Book of Bulletproof Investing. The book has some pretty scary beliefs about what the future will look like for a number of people who do not save for the future. In light of that, he presents some logical looking investment models. One chapter I found particularly interesting was Chapter 8, where he talks about education: getting one and furthering what you already have. I appreciate his discussion on investing in yourself by becoming smarter and wiser. If you would like a little book filled with some big ideas, try Ben Stein’s new book. I think you may like it. One caveat: while you save and invest for your future, be sure to enjoy life along the way.
