Title: What are you focusing on today?
A friend sent me an email with a link. I followed the link. The article, in short, said that what you focus on expands!
I think that is true. That which you focus on, be it negative or positive, will expand its presence in your thoughts, and have a direct impact on your attitude, and your relationships.
Too often we can get caught up in cycles where our thoughts are focused on the negative. We are no longer thankful for what we have. How do we combat that? Maybe this will help. In Philippians 4.8, the Apostle Paul wrote:
Finally brothers, whatever is true,
whatever is honorable,
whatever is just,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence,
if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.
