Title: God's schedule of creation
Recently reading Eugene Petersen and he made a great point. I've read it before, but it is always good to have things reinforced. He points out that in the creation story God seems to do his work at night, notice how it always goes, there was evening, then morning and so on. Petersen makes the point that God is still creating each and every day of out lives. And he is doing it at night while we are sleeping and can't mess it up. God creates every day something for us to do that day, and as Solomon points out in Ecclesiastes, this is our toil, or as it says in Ephesians our good deeds that have been set before us to do. So we need to take the time to seek what God has planned for us each and every day. What has God created for you to do today?
