Hey for the first time I can blog while not sitting at my computer at the office. That is a wierd feeling byh the way. As far as modern technology goes, I can't wait until I am actually old enough to not be expected to keep up. But anyhow, I am at the Childred Desiring God Children's Minister conference in  Minneapolis. The conference starts tomorrow with the keynote address by John Piper. As many of you know I have admired him for years and enjoy his books, so I am looking forward to hearing him speak. But more importantly than that is the focus Dr. Piper and his church have placed on Children's Ministry. We use their curriculum throughout our preschool and children's departments, so I am doubly excited, if that is possible, to be here and see what they have.

As you will no doubt be breathlessly awaiting my comments, I will post another blog or two over the next few days. Until then remember Hamlet said it first when he said "to be or not to be", Sinatra said it better when he said "do be do be do" and Scooby put an exclamation point on it when he said "Scooooooby Do."
