This weekend is filled with so much to do...
There's music, late nights & free food too!

Teens will stay up so the next day their zombies...
All we ask for is they don't lose it and cry out for their mommies!

People will travel from all over the state...
most would not dare if they only knew their fate.

Girls will scream and the guys will shout...
we will all need aspirin without a doubt!

Saturday comes and they all get up early...
this is the time when all the guys act so girlie,
whining, complaining, "i want to sleep in"...
so group leaders pour cold water with a mischievous grin.

The girls get up so they can look pretty...
make-up, hair, and brush their teeth that were gritty.
They want to look nice despite the hard work...
but the boys don't notice, they are such jerks!

So Sunday comes and all seems well...
They get to go home, which we think is swell!
We elbow and nudge so they do not sleep...
they need to stay up one hour to hear the pastor speak.

So the 'Ode to D-Now' is all but complete...
with many teens, band members, and leaders to greet...
This weekend will be the more than just fun...
It is the opportunity to see that life for some has just begun!
