There's been a lot of excitement recently around Fannin Terrace Baptist Church. We've been digging deep into the Word of God. People are spouting memory verses and reading the Bible like crazy. So, I thought it would be great to have a place where we could share what God is teaching us and what we see Him doing around us.

This blog will be a place to do just that. I'll share with you. You are invited to share here too. Some days we may just barely break ground with a spoon. Other days we may dig in really dip with a back hoe. Let's get started.

Every Fannin adult was challenged to commit to a Bible reading plan for 2009. The Sunday before New Year's I started using Pastor Lamb's "read through the Bible in a year" plan. So far I'm keeping up. Right now I'm reading in Job and God is showing me things I've never seen before. (More on that later. In the meantime check out Job 28:28 and we'll talk about it.)
